Whitby Careforce (formerly Simply Care) is a dedicated care provider working with people throughout North Yorkshire. We are care providers for North Yorkshire County Council, Ryedale & Cleveland County Council and the Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale Primary Care Trust.
We also care for private clients and if you would like information on our services please contact us.

In all cases we carry out a personal assessment of a client’s needs. We visit to discuss needs and requirements including dietary, moving and handling or religious considerations. The care plan we develop also takes into account any factors a client, their family or friends consider important and we continue to assess and evaluate the service user’s desires to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible service.

We deliver personal care and associated domestic services to meet the needs of dependant clients in their own home environment. Our services are delivered in a professional non-discriminative manner with each client having a personal assessment of their needs and requirements. We offer the following home care services;
•    Domiciliary Care
•    Cleaning
•    Domestic Care
•    Personal Care
•    Sitting Service
•    Respite Car
•    Sleeping Night Care
•    Working Night Care
•    Meal Preparation
•    Shopping Service
Visitation times are flexible and vary from 1/2 an hour to 24 hours.

Specialist Services
In conjunction with Social Services we offer three hour breaks to the carers of people with Dementia. The three hour breaks are free of charge but dependent on availability. This service can be accessed through SimplyCare Limited or via your Social Worker; private clients are also able to take advantage of this service.

We aim:

  • To deliver a service of the highest quality that will improve and sustain the clients overall quality of life.
  • To ensure that the services we provide are delivered flexibly, attentively and in a non-discriminatory fashion while respecting each client’s right to independence, privacy, dignity fulfillment and the rights to make informed choices and to take risks.
  • To ensure that each client’s needs and values are respected in matters of religion, culture, race or ethnic origin, sexuality and sexual orientation, political affiliation, marital status, parenthood and disabilities or impairments.
  • To manage and implement a programme of formal staff planning, selection, recruitment, training and personal development to enable client care needs to be met.
  • To match Care Workers as closely as possible with the client, and respecting the need to change the Care Worker in the event of subsequent non-compatibility.
  • To manage the Care Services efficiently and effectively to make the best use of resources and to maximise value for money for the Purchaser / Service User.
  • To undertake an assessment within the home of each new client to assess both the needs of the client and any risks which may be present within the home.
  • To ensure that all Clients / Service Users receive written information on SimplyCare’s procedure for handling complaints, comments and compliments and how to use it.
