Easter event brings together young and old
Following the highly successful Christmas social event Tenterden team put on an Easter party for its service users. They invited local children to along and to get involved by designing a poster about safety at home for older people. In keeping with the theme Tenterden also launched its Falls Awareness campaign and gave out safer slippers at the event.

Tenterden teamwork gives service users a terrific Christmas party
Carers and office staff worked together to organise a Christmas entertainment and tea party for around fifty service users in Ashford. Staff organised transport, entertainment and collected donations of food and raffle prizes from local businesses. Seventeen staff went along to support the event – with carers giving up their afternoon rest period to do so.
Branch Manager Tracey Coleman said that the Christmas event provided an opportunity for local elderly people – who can sometimes become isolated and lonely – to get together, enjoy each others company and have some fun.
