Careforce

Warmley launched its falls awareness and slipper replacement programme in December. At an event held in Bristol attended by service users, members of the branch's care teams, Careforce Managers and representatives from the Local Authority, Barbara Dando presented the initiative and explained some of the simple ways that falls in the home could be prevented.

After lunch the service users were fitted with a pair of new, safer, slippers which have velcro fastenings over the instep, non-slip soles and a slight heel.
