Wigan Careforce has been awarded a contract by Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council for the provision of domiciliary care services for an initial period of three years, plus a further potential two year extension.
As well as bringing the very highest standards of care to elderly and vulnerable people living in the Borough, Careforce also has opportunities for people wishing to begin or further a career in care.
We need full and part-time CARERS, experience is helpful but not essential as we will train you up to NVQ2, free of charge. We also have opportunities for SENIOR CARERS already qualified to at least NVQ2 level.

Careforce launched its falls awareness and safer slipper programme in February at Hindley Day Centre, throughout the year our carers will be able to offer their service users replacement slippers and also help raise awareness of hazards in the home that could lead to a fall. All staff are encouraged and supported to undertake projects that make a positive difference to the lives of people in their communities.
