Domiciliary care business acquisition in Hampshire announced
New care business acquisition: Meadow House Services, Hampshire
Mears Group has announced it has acquired domiciliary care business, Meadow House Services with offices in Portsmouth and Gosport Hampshire. The business is currently delivering 1500 hours of care a week and provides services to Portsmouth City Council and Hampshire County Council covering the Gosport and Havant areas. It also has a substantial private client base, serviced by the Gosport branch, and provides our domiciliary care division with a strategic operating base for the key south coast area of Britain. Meadow House Services is working with the local PCT to develop services for Continuing Care and there are a number of tenders coming up for service delivery in sheltered housing schemes. Having an existing operating base in this region puts us in a strong bidding position and will also facilitate the development of our private care business in the area.
