We supported World Action on Elder Awareness Day June 15.
Careforce and Mears held a joint project, Care and Repair Week, as part of our commitment to Falls Prevention, timed to coincide with National Falls Prevention Day in June.
We are supporting the Cure Parkinson's Trust as Group.
30 branches have taken up the Careforce Christmas Hamper Challenge to put together hampers for those Service Users who will be alone on Christmas Day.
We are once again running a Keep Warm Keep Well awareness campaign this winter and distributing wall thermometers to service users.
We have partnered with Sense, the deafblind charity, to raise awareness among our care staff of the difficulties faced by elderly people with dual sensory loss.
We are producing bogus caller cards for our service users and distributing information to care staff, service users and their families on staying safe at home and the support that is available to help.
