Paul Manning who began working in care at our Wallsend branch earlier this year has been awarded Care Newcomer of the year. Colleagues Kelly Rickelton (Branch Manager) and Doris Nicholson (Trainer) were finalists in their sections.

Mears Group has announced it has acquired domiciliary care business, Meadow House Services with offices in Portsmouth and Gosport Hampshire.

Eleven Careforce staff, who were nominated by colleagues and Managers, have reached the finals in their region's forthcoming care awards which recognise excellence in different care roles and disciplines.

Doris Nicholson NVQ Assessor/Trainer at Wallsend Branch has won an award for outstanding achievement in learning and development from Skills for Care and the Tyne and Wear Care Alliance.
