About Us

About Us - Careforce Careforce was established in 1999 to provide comprehensive care solutions for people living in their own homes. Our vision is a country-wide network of local branches, backed up by a highly professional support network, which have the flexibility to meet the changing needs of care users while delivering consistently high standards of professional care.

In 2007 Careforce became part of Mears, the UK’s leading social housing repairs and maintenance provider in the UK and, under the Mears’ umbrella, the company has stepped up its acquisition programme and is well on the way to meeting its objective of being Britains largest, and most successful, homecare provider.

Careforce is currently the only national care group dedicated to providing domiciliary care services and it is working in partnership with Local Authorities around the UK to meet the needs of the elderly and others who need extra support to enable them to remain living independently in their own homes.

The company is also seeing a growth in the provision of care to private clients, funded by direct payments, other government payments such as Attendance Allowance, or by service users and their families.

Our high quality care standards are maintained through investment in professional resources for recruitment and training, and by a central management, supervision and support structure for both carer and cared for.

Careforce has grown predominantly through acquisition, taking over small, successful local care companies with local knowledge and which are established local employers and service providers. Existing clients benefit from continuity while these branches are given the support and investment to continue to provide high quality care and to grow their local business.
